In advance of every event, we create and manage an overall event timeline to keep all parties on the same page and ensure that everyone understands where we’re at in relation to the event. As a wide variety of vendors, venue personnel and other staff are added to an event, delivering a timely event on time and on or under budget can become incredibly challenging. In conjunction with the event budget and logistics plan, Vision uses the timeline as a clearinghouse for all event activities. Every piece of the timeline works in tandem to keep the whole event running at its highest level: the load-in schedule impacts the production schedule, which impacts rehearsals, which impacts an on-time keynote, which impacts meal times, and so on.
